What, if any, effect would dark matter have on Earth, in your opinion? Explain why you think that way.?

    Given that it is a hypothetical invention...

    I'd estimate zero effect on earth.

    But if it does account for a large amount of our galaxies mass, then our sun is essentially orbiting that mass as well as the the visible mass.

    So we are orbiting closer to the galactic center than we otherwise would be.
