Confused about how I feel?

Recently I met this guy and we have messaged each other a lot. He's a really nice guy. It's obvious that he really likes me, or at least I think he does. We have only hanged out 2 times. He told me he really liked me and asked if he could kiss me. I guess my mind froze so I said that he could without thinking. I felt rather awkward about it.

Honestly, I felt it was too soon, but I didn't want to upset him. I'm not sure if I like him as more then friends yet. To be honest I'm 18 and never had a boyfriend, sooo these types of situations are new to me and it makes me nervous. I've never been the kind of girl that rushes into relationships. I think I came off as seeming like a liked him back, I have a very cheerful personality.

Any advice on what I should do?
