can i use genex ally birdman to bounce back a veilered monster?

May sound like a stupid question but I just want to know fore sure.

    Yes, veiler negates the effect of the card on the field, not the effect of birdman, so you would be able to bounce said monster for his effect.

    of course. why do u think the card is so good? summon tourguide, go for another tourguide, bounce the negated one 4 birdman, synch for 6, or overlay for 3
