That's already been done, Matthew chapter 1 and Luke 3:23-38. Matthew gives us Joseph's line and concentrates on connecting Jesus to two great OT covenants, the Abrahamic and the Davidic. Luke writes from a different perspective and takes the genealogy all the way back to Adam. He also probably gives us Mary's genealogy.
