    For each of 23 types of chromosome, you have two choices - maternal or paternal. Thus, the answer is 2^23, or over 8 million.

    considering that women purely have X chromosomes, this could advise that if Jesus became extremely from a virgin beginning, Jesus could have had XX chromosomes instead of XY, and to that end could could have been a woman.
