Do you wish we could have the Clinton/Gingrich tax code again, where the budget was nearly balanced and dollar?
....as strong as it's ever been?
I sure do.

What’s FUNNY ABOUT THAT is that then, Gingrich said exactly what Repubs today are saying.
“Taxing the rich more costs jobs and destroys the economy.”
23 million jobs and a budget surplus later...

The fact that dollar was strong and the budget was balanced had little to do with Clinton or Gingrich. The economic boom of the 1990's created a windfall of tax revenue.

Yeah. that's a shame between the 1st issues the Republicans did became enable the pay-bypass invoice expire. Now that the Dems are in extremely administration, they want it back. The destruction of the funds by letting that expire, mixed with 2 tax cuts by Bush and a couple of unfunded wars, would desire to no longer probably be triumph over by letting the tax cuts expire, noticeably for purely the genuine 2%.

ya but this would also call for Obama to stop the spending spree and to stop handing out freebies. It would require Americans to get off their butts. work (maybe two jobs) and stop expecting the government to pick them up.It would also mean that OBAMA would have to admit Obamacare is a joke and take it OFF THE TABLE for good. No way to balance the budget with a program that will break us in the end. Then he could go back to clinton tax rights and balance the dam budget.

I wish we could have the revolution in information technology and telecommunications that we had in the 90s again.
