Which QB to start: Roethlisberger, Dalton, Kaepernick?

So which one would you start?

Roethlisberger is coming off a great start in his return last week and is going against Dallas who has been pretty good against QB's this season.

Dalton hasn't performed well the last couple weeks, but is going against Philly who has given up the 2nd most fantasy points to QB's this season (at least in my league).

Kaepernick can be electric, but hasn't gone off and done anything special since the Bears game. With the Niners offense focusing on the run, he won't get as many passing attempts as Dalton or Roethlisberger. The Patriots are one of the worst ranked passing defenses though, but have done well against QB's the last few weeks. The only thing, is that the last QB's the Patriots have faced have been: Schaub, Tannehill, Mark Sanchez, Luck, Fitzpatrick, Bradford and Sanchez again. That's hardly an elite group of QB's, but Kaepernick hasn't proven himself to be elite as well... although he can get me some points on the ground as well.

My gut is telling me Dalton is the safe bet... but the other two have more upside.

I'd go with Dalton, he'll tear Phili up. Especially after last weeks loss, I was there. Cowboys fan ;). This time of the year you don't want to make risks, Dalton is a good choice.

I'm in the same situation, minus Dalton.  Big Ben and Kaepernick are both risky option, but both have a great upside. Roethlisberger is only 1 game back and got most of his points in trash time last week vs SD. I think of all 3 QB's, I would start Kaepernick. Ya, he hasn't been amazing lately, but they will need to throw the ball down the field to beat NE. His past 3 games he has 164 yds rushing and 2 TD's as well. I just can't trust Dalton to be a legitimate starter in the playoffs. Kaepernick is risky too, but his upside is far, far greater. I'm rolling with Kaepernick....Good luck!
