first to second gear problem at high revs?

hey guys. i have a celica st202 model with the 3sgte engine of st205 and the transmission of an st182 (i know its a bit modified). on the transmission i had an ACT 6 Paddle Competition Clutch Kit and when i was on first gear going high revs and shifting to second gear it felt way too smooth and then the car was just revving like i was on empty gear and i had to change to 3rd gear in order to move. but while normal driving it was fine.

Then i had to change the clutch because it went bad on me and installed an organic clutch because i was low on money. i was hoping that the problem would go away since i installed new clutch, but as my surprise it does the same thing! like there is no second gear! but also while normal driving, the second gear is ok.

what seems to be the problem here?
