Is this IQ test reliable?
I'm a 13 year old male. It appears the average IQ for this age is 90-100. I took a test on a site just a minute ago and my result was 139. It seems unlikely that mine would be this high compared to the average. Thanks in advance.

The average IQ for ALL ages is close to 100 (scored accordingly to accommodate different ages). This being the intent of the test's creators. A test taken without a mediator should be taken with a grain of salt, however; but you never know--maybe your IQ is 139.
Until you've had a proper psychologist or test mediator give you a timed and certified test, though, don't go around telling people your IQ is 139, which, mind you, is exceptional!
Source(s): I've taken both a self-administered test and an online (seemingly legitimate test?) and let's just say I'm a genius online and a decent bit above average otherwise. But maybe you'll stay the same! - Anonymous8 years ago
Well, IQ matters a bunch. So does EI (emotional intelligence). A person needs a good balance to succeed.

there are no accurate online iq tests. they are all either collecting email addresses, collecting page views, selling something, or (if you downloaded anything) trying to sneak malware into your computer.
