Have you ever met a sports hero?

It really bothers me when I often hear "NFL, NBA, NHL, etc" heroes. I think real heroes are made by life experiences and not passions for certain sports.

    I don't believe that sports players are "heroes." That's just nonsense. They're just a group of beefy, sweaty guys who get paid a crapload of money to run around looking like fools and catch/kick/throw a ball.

    I have never met a sports hero but that would be totally awesome if I did.

    I've met sports celebrities. They are not "heroes". None of them are.

    basketball; Jordan, Payton, Rodman, Tim Hardaway, fowl, Barkley soccer; Dan Marino,Emmitt Smith, Bo Jackson, Ronnie Lott baseball; Pete Rose, Rickey Henderson, Dale Murphy boxing; Iron Mike, Hagler hockey; the super One wresting; the Hulkster and street Warriors golfing; Freddy Couples soccer; i don't care those athletes purely struck a nerve with me each and every time I watched them, all of them worked their tails off and gave a a hundred% each and every of the time, those are the icons I grew up with
