If I wanted to start reading Superman comics..?

I'd read All-Star Superman or Kingdom Come or Superman Red Son. All of those else worlds,the first one Superman is dying,the second one it's about the end of the Golden Age and the last one if Superman landed in Communist Russia. But for modern reading with DC's new 52 I'd pick up Action Comics Volume 1 which covers his new revamped origin but if you don't have the money and have a local comic book store start with Superman #13 which is the new H'el on Earth story arc. Though with that you have to continue on to Superboy #13,Supergirl #13 if you want to get the entire story.

Just pick up the latest issue and if you like it come back for the next one.

Right now its in issue 14 but you might want to start with issue 6 in 2 months because

its in the middle of a big story right now so if you pick up issue 14 youre gonna be lost.

Unless you pick up issues 12 and 13 which is where the current story begins.

the current story ends in issue 16 i think so you can start around there.

If your looking for a modern take on Superman read some of DC 52 stuff it a relaunch of the old stuff. If not your going to spend a lot of money to get some golden age books.

start up everywhere! i have offered Superman comics over the years and that i do not extremely imagine it concerns which one i purchased because I loved reading any of them! you may want to always pass to a comic book e book shop (in the journey that they have got those around the position you stay) and ask what might want to be an magnificent Superman comic to start up off with. you may want to attempt starting up off with vast comic books like "Superman: Birthright the starting place of the guy of metal" that ones fantastically first rate. or you may want to attempt the "Superman Batman Supergirl" e book, that one's prettty reliable too. attempt some Superboy & Supergirl comics too! i in my opinion like Supergirl ones the great, yet perhaps that is because i'm a lady.. :)
