Should I try to get my book publish or post it up on wattpad or fanfiction?
I want to write a book, but I do not know if I should put my book on a writing website like fanfiction or wattpad or publish it.

I agree with the other two posters about you being able to still get it published after publishing or putting it online yourself but I would first start by urging you to actually write the book first. Even if you're basing it off of an established book or idea, the first hurdle you have to complete is actually completing the manuscript. I cannot tell you how many people never actually get that far or do and then once they're finished they are so put-off by the whole process or the book itself that they let it languish somewhere in a box in the basement or a file tucked deeply away on their computer. Now after you start writing it, I would try every aspect to get it published. Start with the traditional publishers, work your way down to wattpad or a fanfiction site, and/or if you want to self-publish in a good place then search for reputable self-publishing websites like Amazon, or Barnes and Noble or Smashwords (more of a software).

Good there isn't a reason you can not put it on an internet internet site earlier than publishing it, in any case Stephanie Meyer's book was at the beginning on fanfiction before she received it released and it grew to be the quickest ever selling paperback. Although if it's an fashioned story (no longer centered on a different e-book/television exhibit) i'd say fictionpress or wattpad could be higher. Publishing a book right away requires a lot of time as you'd have got to travel to signings and do different stuff for publicity. If you are pleased to do that then seeking to get it released maybe the simpler choice. For those who do decide to get it released perhaps sit down down with a publisher and tell them the notion for the publication as this may normally support to focus you and provides support you come to be with the nice feasible story. Good good fortune x

Oh man, okay.
I would advise you NOT to go on wattpad. It is incredibly hard to get people to notice you on there unless you do a cliched love triangle with a mary sue in first person. So going on fanfiction.net or fictionpress would be a MUCH better idea. People tend to give you better reviews, and help you a lot when you want to move on.
You should remember that on wattpad, people steal stories and it gets frustrating.

You should put it on a website first to get feedback. Instead of wattpad, I highly recommend you post it on
There's writers on their who are new and experienced ( some who have even had their works published themselves ), so you can get helpful feedback/comments and ratings from fellow writers!
