Jamie Foxx Calls Obama ‘Our Lord And Savior’ ?

Actor and musician Jamie Foxx called President Barack Obama ‘our lord and savior’ during his appearance on the Soul Train Awards 2012 on Sunday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He said:

"First of all, give an honor to God and our lord and savior Barack Obama. Barack Obama ! ”

Radio host and Fox News commentator Mary Walter said the "Django Unchained" actor's reference may root back to reliance on government. "The intellectually superior don’t need the crutch of religion," she said on Fox News, according to Mediaite. "Those of us clinging to our guns and religion… we’re somehow less evolved. It’s about a societal religion as opposed to a church religion, because if the government gives you everything, the government becomes your religion, and he’s our leader.”

What do you think?

I was completely insulted. I didn't find it funny nor would I expect anything different from him. This statement had nothing to do with religion and it was the true definition of Blasphemy. This had nothing to do with God, but religion alone!

The sad part is part of what canon said is true about "some" blacks voted for Obama just because he is African American.

However, release facts please as Obama's vote majority has never been black. .Barack Obama, who will be the nation’s first African-American president, won the largest share of white support of any Democrat in a two-man race since 1976 amid a backdrop of economic anxiety unseen in at least a quarter-century, according to exit polls by The Associated Press and the major television networks. 2008. 2012: 66.2% white, 12.5 Latino, and 21.4 % black.

This is the ignorance spilled by Mr. Fox, and now repeated by you.

Additional: Mary Walter's commentary actually exudes ignorance. Her analogy of guns and religion is a reflection of her. This so called government she claims not to hang onto is the same governmental system she obtained an education and opportunity in the cover of journalism as a job. Her understanding of slavery is so far removed. This presents falsely presents that didn't know God until after they were slaves. This is almost funny if not just as insulting as Obama being my leader. He is the current president, who happens to be black. Christ is my leader. I render unto Cesar which is Cesar's and God what is God's. My Bible hidden in my heart, my guns in the closet and ignorant people in its appropriate category.

He's a comedian number one, but I think that saying a mere man that is president and is black to be a savior of all black people is Mister Fox you gotta nother thing coming. Just like with white presidents Obama may not give a crap about you just his paycheck in the end. I always remembered from my dad who is black tells me life is a game of hustling and pimping. The thing about the game is not all people play fair

I think he's a complete idiot! I bet Obama didn't care to be called that either because he knows nobody can take the place of our Lord Jesus. There was nothing funny about that and he should feel real stupid for that ridiculous comment.

Trust me on this: it is a black thing. Obama isn't my "Lord and Savior" that's for sure. Above 90% of African Americans voted for Obama. You get buffoons like Jamie Foxx voting for Obama just because he's black. Prove me wrong.
