How are you planning to spend your holidays ?

With Family & Friends here on Whipple Ranch and surrounding locations in Calaveras County, California... I'm a little miffed, we got a half inch of RAIN last night that is melting our SNOW !?!?

Youngest daughter gets home on Christmas Leave from the US Naval Academy next week... she flies into San Francisco and will take the train to Stockton, where we will pick her up.

Our Ranch will host a "Happy Hour & Carols" here at the "Stag and Tom" (the pub on our ranch) on Thursday the 20th... 30-40 people stopping by for drinks, snacks, singing, etc between Noon and 9pm.

Christmas Eve will be following my Wife's Philippine Traditions... Late Mass, drive the 25 miles HOME, then a LATE Supper (Buenos Noches) of Ham and Cheese, and singing and such.

I'll be up LATE Christmas Eve - Santa stops by our ranch about 1am to get Hay, Oats, and Carrots for the Reindeer... he also drops of gifts for our grandkids and enjoys a sandwich and shot of Scotch for himself.

Up EARLY on Christmas with the family... then another large gathering of people for Christmas Dinner.

New Years is a QUIET night at our Ranch Pub... just 4 or 5 couples - we put them up in guest apartments / cabins on our ranch so no one is driving drunk.

I will be one of the hundreds of lovely care assistants who will be working over the holidays with end of life patients for a UK Cancer Charity.

With hot pockets, weed, pack of smokes, 5 handles of Captain Mo, and a bunch of Stanley Kubrick films.

No plans yet. Not even sure who I will be with.

Pick up my hobby again. That'll occupy alot of my time.
