I just recently had a C-Section and it feels like theres a knot by it?

November 30th i had an unexpected C-Section and the surgery went very well. I lost a little more blood than most lose, but now im noticing a hard knot-like lump slightly above the incision. Its extremely painful if i touch it and its about the size of a ping pong ball or so. I have disolvable stitches and staples i dont know if one of those would have anything to do with it, but is this knot-like bump normal; has anyone else have this happen to them????

It could just be scar tissue. I had some after a laproscopy in my belly button. Consult your doctor just to make sure its nothing more serious.
