Can some one explain this limit to me? Calculus.?

lim x->-2 (x^4-4x-24)/(x^3+x^2-x+2)

    Since the numerator and denominator approach 0, use L'Hopital's rule and take the derivatives of the numerator and denominator.

    lim (x^4 - 4x - 24)/(x^3 + x^2 - x + 2) =

    x-> -2

    lim (4x^3 - 4)/(3x^2 + 2x - 1) = -36/7

    x-> -2
