Not at all. God controls you. However you control the force, even though no everybody is strong enough to control it, but theoretically it is possible.

interestingly enough- the Force is similar to God in many ways-

-one could only take full advantage of it's power in faith

-one had to learn to trust the Force and not themselves

-the Force was not anything physical others could see

-many denied it's validity

-the Force was used for knowledge and defense- never for attack

-and like Yoda said to Luke when he said he didn't believe it-

'That is why you fail'

And sometimes it zaps Samuel L Jackson with lightning bolts.
