Whats the answer and how do i figure it out?

you would move the decimal two places to the right since you need to get rid of the decimal. so you would then get 49 divided by 70. since 49 is sorta not divisible by 70 you would put a decimal after 49 and figure out 490 divided by seven though your answer would be a decimal and 0.7.

or you can just do mental math. 49 divided by 7 is 7. since .49 divided by .07 is 7 then your answer would be .7 because the 7 is larger and in the same place value.if you don't know what i just said here is a site.

First, the dividend (0.7) has to be made a whole number, so you would move it one decimal place to the right. Then, since you moved the dividend (0.7) over one space, you must also move the divisor over one space to the right. Then you do long division to figure out 4.9 divided by 7. (Remember to put the decimal place in the answer right above the decimal in 4.9!) The answer should be 0.7.
