Anyone who says Pit Bulls and Bull dogs are naturally aggressive, dont know anything about dogs. It is all about how you raise a dog, not what breed it is. I own 3 Pitt Bulls and they love people and are really friendly, and thats because they were raised that way. If you leave your dog in a yard and keep it tied and don't give it any love or affection, or abuse it and whatnot, they can become aggressive. That happens to any breed. There is nothing to fear about Pitt Bulls or Bull dogs.
You should walk it at least twice a day, let it run at a park, and play with it to get exercise. And to socialize them you take them in public places, like a walking trail or parks and get him to have human and dog contact. But don't take him out until he has had all of his needles because without them not only can he pick up diseases in public places from other dogs, but he can spread it as well.
Look up the breeds and basic dog care to learn more about what you need to do, and don't worry about what other people say about their breeds, they are wonderful dogs as long as you raise them to be that way! (:

My first ever dog is a pitbull. He was specifically breed to fight. Long story short, someone tipped off the breeder so the breeder gave him to me until the police eased off, but i decided not to give him back. That was when he was a puppy, now he's 7 and he's the most friendly dog ever. He loves other dogs, he's had small fights with dogs that have acted aggressive towards that have never turned out more than a couple of scratches. He's the most obedient, intelligent dog i could ever ask for. So don't listen to anyone who says they're aggressive by nature, because that's impossible. It's the owner not the dog.
It'll be a medium-sized dog, up to your calf on all fours i think. It will be a VERY energetic dog because of its breed so make sure you have time to walk him at least an hour a day.

I got a Pitbull mix a year ago. They are sweet dogs but you need to have a backbone and be the alpha. It is also extremely important to socialize them at a young age with other dogs. Go to the park, playdates, even Petco. I wouldn't bring a Pit mix to a dog park though- many people are still nervous about Pits and you'll get a few mean looks. It's also difficult to get them toys- you need strong sturdy toys like Kongs- and DO NOT give them stuffed animal toys this will make them think it's okay to go after pillows.

If you're getting this from a person who bred these dogs-don't. Go to a shelter if you want to get a poorly bred/mixed bred dog/puppy-the shelters are overwhelmed with APBT mixes now.
American Pit bull terriers are dog aggressive. It's in their genetics. They are not a dog for everyone. They need a job. They need daily exercise/mental stimulation. They are not good for first time owners, same goes for any mix of this breed.
ADD: By daily exercise I mean daily walks, eventually either two hour long walks daily or four thirty minute walks. If you cannot provide daily walks-Don't get a dog.

Neither of these dogs are naturally dog aggressive..matter of fact Pit is a pack dog..I would say that if your thinking of buying this pup skip that and try petfinder.com to find one in your area.
