The sluttiness....well, no matter what you do or wear, someone is going to judge you. You just have to keep your head held high and be proud of yourself. If you think the navel piercing is going to look good, then get it, own it, and work your stuff:P

Where I come from, a navel piercing is only considered slutty if you are going around showing it off by wearing skimpy clothes and stuff like that.

BTW, I live in Florida, so there's a lot of girls and women wearing very little clothing with navel piercings. It's all in how they hold themselves. So the piercing itself isn't considered slutty, I believe.

No, it sin't slutty. It is cool. I'm fifty eight and am looking forward to my first tattoo (however in an inconspicuous place). Piercings are VERY dangerous if not completed correctly, i'm a physician, i know. Be definite whomever is doing it is aware of what they are doing; ask for references and for God's sake, after you could have carried out it, check for swelling and infection. Go for it!

It's not. It's only an accesory. What makes you slutty is your reputation with how many relationships you had and what you've done. But things like piercings, tattoos, or things like that don't necessarily make you slutty.

People think of them in a slutty manner, but if you carry/present yourself in an "un-slutty" manner (lower back tattoos, a bikini that's too small, etc, are the kind of things people consider "slutty"), I doubt people would think much of it.

And, good for you, girl! Losing 45lbs, that's great! :) 100% you deserve that piercing!

Some people I guess would consider it trashy like the person above me . But I think there really cute and they give your boyfriend something to play with . And I think that females that hate on them usually dont have the body for one or are too lazy to get the body for one . I say embrace your hard work ! (:

It just depends on what you get, I think they get trashier the more dangly they get, especially if its a dangly playboy bunny or the word "slut"
