If the online classes are through the community college, then yes. The for-profit online colleges are a waste of time because it is very rare for any of the classes to be accepted for credit by a traditional university.

Yes, you should be fine because you are taking two different majors-you'll be busy but no one in either college will check to see if you're going to any other colleges. Many people in Universities take some classes at a community colleges at the same time and transfer the units later with no problems.

Online classes seldom, or is difficult to transfer because the assignments aren't really hands-on. I did took three online classes from www.coursera.org and venture-lab.org - Introduction to Logic, Drug and the Brain, and A Crash Course on Creativity. After I finish these sessions, these institute from Stanford university and Columbia university sent me certificates indicating I have successfully completed these courses. However, I not completely sure if these certificates can be accounted for authentic credits, but they do look elegant on my portfolio.

Yes you can. However you need to check with your school before you take them to see if they will accept them for credit. Generally, the school offering the online classes MUST be regionally accredited for this to happen. Like from a school like Athabasca University or Western Governors University.

Talk toi n academic counselor at your community college and ask if the credit will transfer, They may accept those credit hours, or they may not tranfer at all.
