Monitoring teen driving?

I am looking to monitor my teen's driving. Most I have seen have the parent set a max speed allowed by the teen, and alerts you if they exceed it. This does no good if you set the max speed at 60 and they're driving in a 35 mph zone. Are there any more advanced ideas that can monitor the speed limit where they're driving and adjust the max limit from that, then notify the parent?

Update:

city nights - i understand an adult doesn't want to be monitored, but he's only been driving for less than a year and has had an accident and a speeding ticket (86 in a 65). I don't want him dead, and us parents end up paying for the insurance rate hike, and some parents probably end up paying the fine instead of the child paying for it, which i believe will be about $120.

I know there's a few, the problem being that if you don't know the speed-limit in an area then it doesn't matter if you know their speed is 40 and it's actually 20 there... but if you set the perimeter that they're allowed to drive in and you know that road is 35mph and you see on the app that they went 55 through there then you know they sped and you can react accordingly. I don't believe in doing this behind the teen's back, but letting them know you're doing it. It makes them safer drivers if they KNOW you're watching more than after the fact punishment.

They do that?... I don't really think that's a good idea, that's like us flippin it around on parents, you'd hate that. I can almost guarantee that there's a way to trip it so you can't tell tho haha someone will find away.

Well sh*t, I'm glad my car doesn't have that... To be honest, I don't rally to hard but I have a 20min ride to school so I get bored, and I also don't wanna be late, highway at 80mph when nobody is out there that's local speed... Road to get to the high way, 10min drive, 55mph local speed (45mph road tho) but nobody drives the speed limit around here unless its a blizzard, if you do drive the speed limit or under, you'll get a car line behind you and undoubtably create a lot of road rage.
