What is the name & location of the highway in Canada where the vehicles drive on ice?

I think it is in Northern Canada. I saw it on a U-Haul truck.

    Which one? There are many.

I live near Dawson City, Yukon, and people here cross an ice bridge to West Dawson. I've been on it many times. My house is actually near the start of the Dempster Highway, which is on land to Inuvik, then ice to Tuktoyaktuk. But, on the way, there are 2 crossing on ice.

There is a long one that runs from Hay River to Yellowknife, right across the Great Slave Lake.

Those are just the ones I know about.

North of Libau Manitoba (I mention Libau 'cause I can think of at least one trucking company based there that travels the winter roads), the ice roads will start on the lakes.

Its the only way many northern Manitoba communities can really get supplies. I have a few friends who are getting ready mentally for their winters hauling supplies up there.

I could never do it, I'd have a panic attack or some stupid thing like that.

There is an ice road open to ordinary traffic between Yellowknife and Dettah.

As Capitalgentleman pointed out, there is an ice road across the Yukon River at Dawson City.
