Yahoo email looks different. It has purple color, there is no place for BCC, what's up and why?
As of 12-12-12 my yahoo email changed. Why is my yahoo email now different than it has been for years? Are they upgrading or trying to force people to buy something they don't want? My email page doesn't have a place to BCC others and just looks totally different. What's up and why?

This same issue/problem has been started as a new open question by multiple separate people, over the past couple of days-

If there’s some way to combine these questions/threads into one, I’m sure we’ll all get to the real/best answer much quicker, so we can all resolve the problems we’re now having with Yahoo mail:
Here’s 3 examples of “new open” questions (past couple days) I found that are very similar (Same PROBLEM/ISSUE with sudden change/corruption, possible virus, etc. with Yahoo mail account layout/appearance)--At moment the ones below had no responses or solutions:

Yes, mine has changed too and I don't like it.
Why did Yahoo have to change the format? It went from good to bad.
I don't even see the sign out link that use to be at the top of the page.
I am switching to google email if they don't fix this.

Yahoo gave us a new email layout. If you click to compose a message, the CC and BCC are to the right.

I agree. It's like someone made these decisions without any "User" polls. In this day and age, that's just WRONG. They made the page less functional, and less friendly. It looks like what happens when the servers go on "minimum output" to save memory. Making unilateral decisions rests in the hands of the provider, but they should keep their user base in mind when they do.

I absolutely hate it!!! You would have thought they would have sent out a general emai or something explaining the difference and that it was going to actually change. Really Yahoo???? Are you kidding me?

Mine changed also and we hate it! Not as easy to see anything. Poor layout and design and not user friendy. I will look at other options, most likeky plain old outlook express. Bad move yahoo!

My account experienced the same change and I don't like it. Anxious to know what the problem and the fix is!
