I cannot pin anything to my taskbar or start up menu. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Up until a few days ago, everything was fine. Also, my bookmarks have disappeared from the toolbar. I tried a system restore with no luck. Please help.

Update:

My taskbar will not unlock.

    Your taskbar might be locked, try to pin something after unlocking it.

    To unlock taskbar right click on it and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar" option.

    Google for help or check Youtube for instructional. They have everything there.
