Does my Mustang come with exhaust baffles?

I would like to be able to make my car sound louder and really feel that rumble. I have a 2013 Mustang GT Coupe, with the California Special Package and Automatic Transmission (I know, Manual would have been better, but I haven't learned to drive a stick yet, I will before I get my next Mustang though :-)

That being said, does my Mustang come equipped with sound baffles on the exhaust and how can I tell? I believe the new Boss 302 does have them.

Thanks!

Anthony

Update:

In case it matters, I should specify it's a 2013 Mustang GT Premium Couple with the California Special Package.

The Bosses have a restriction plate in the portion of their mid-pipes that leads out of the side of the car. That "baffle" can be removed for a louder exhaust. However your car doesn't have them, you have a standard dual exhaust setup with mufflers. A good axleback for your car is the GT500 or Roush axleback. Go to AmericanMuscle.com and you'll find that they have a few good sound clips of what each exhaust sounds like on the 5.0's.

Also that "rubber" thing isn't around the air filter. The rubber thing on the air filter is necessary to seal the filter to the air box. The thing that he is talking about is the sound induction tube, which is the plastic tube that leads from air intake tube into your firewall. I'd personally delete that tube, it cleans up the engine bay a lot and the sound it bellows into your cabin is irritating. When you delete that tube you'll actually be able to hear your engine, not a white-noise produced to make the car sound "nostalgic".

Feel free to email me if you have any more questions regarding the 2011+ GT's.

NO Baffles. thats only for motorbikes.

you need to replace the "mufflers" not cats with a full cat back exhaust.

remember : air in and out=Sound

second you need to get an air intake to wake up the sound or you can remove the rubber part that goes around the air-filter (that is a silencer sometimes called a baffle) it looks like a black construction cone located under the airbox (driver side) and leads into the fender well.
