Do the Michigan Anti Right to Work protesters reflect the average Union member?

I understand their concern that R 2 W folks may benefit from union negotiated wages, but is the protester's response justified in your opinion?

From what I have seen of unions, yes.

This "violence" absolutely does not reflect the average union member. Think of all the teachers who DIDN'T take the day off to protest. They still performed their duties, despite the fact that the government just kicked out their feet.

By the way, Fox News sent a team of harassers into that crowd... didn't you know? They patronized, mocked, insulted, and provoked the peaceful protestors until they got violent. And yes, there IS footage of that. As for the Tea Party tent, they took it down themselves, from the inside. They've been known to do this.

Yes, because this, despite the Governor's mangled logic, is very deterimental to the power of workers to negotiate with managements.
