how to lock the center of a shape in Photoshop CS6?

whenever you try to resize or skew a shape, a circle will appear at the center which you can move around. I want to resize the shape of my circle but making the center point locked as resizing causes the center to move as well. In another way it's like how to resize the shape while maintaining its aspect ratio.

leave the anchor point (the "circle') in the middle... press & hold shift and alt (or opt) while resizing -- click & drag one of the transform controls at any corner, with either the move tool or by using "ctrl/cmd + t").

Shift keeps the aspect ratio whenever you're resizing something

Alt/Opt resizes from the center out.
