Can I have a diet of water and oranges?

Would it be unhealthy or healthy to drink mostly water and eat mostly oranges, regarding meat for dinner for protein. Would I lose weight? What are pros and cons of this type of diet?

A diet with restrictions like this is boring. Come up with a plan for a lifetime of goof health. Anyone can name three items and call it a diet. There's no science behind it. It's useless and not creative. Of you want a theme, try high fiber, eat your colors, low carb, vegan or Mediterranean.

No, you'll need protein too, which you can't get from oranges. You'll probably also be taking in too much fiber, which can make you constipated and give you gas. Some fiber is good, too much will have the opposite effect.
