Brother's 4th grade spelling hw? Should be very easy; why is it not easy!!?
My brother has an assignment for spelling. He has a large word bank like 35 and is answering various questions, there were 18 of those. We only have 4 left.

1-2. Fins words with double consonants.

Double consonants are two consonants in a row. So look at "earrings". Has 2 r's in a row. See if there are any others like "appear". With 2 p's in a row. Not vowels - so career or cheer - with 2 e's would not be correct.
I don't see a word in the list to fit the blank in #3. So maybe one of the other questions you've already answered is wrong. Look for something like "honestly" in one of your other answers.
#4. Would be "ear".

I am confused are we using the words above that you listed or do you need words given to you to fill in blanks?

#3 does not make sense with any of the words listed....
