If i am moving to Wyoming in August, can i register the trailer i just bought, in wyoming instead of WA state.?

the sales tax in wyoming is nearly half and it would also save me from needing to repay the licensing fee once i get there. i don't plan on using it too much before i go there. Would they register it if i don't yet live there?

Update:

so what makes me a legal resident? i thought that was determined partially by vehicle registration and drivers license.

Sorry, no you have to be a legal resident to register it and you're not yet. You have to register it in Washington and then transfer ot to Wyoming when you move. I would hate having to do that too.

No. You won't be able to register it in Wyoming because you don't (yet) live in Wyoming. Only a permanent, legal resident can register a vehicle. ( in any US state)
