Stuff I need for eventing?
Soon I will be starting up doing events. If anyone could help me find stuff I need for eventing that would be great! I have what I need for dressage so I just need things for stadium and cross country. (Thing's I do have for stadium and cross country) I do have the things like a helmet, saddle, bridle, vest ect.. But anything else let me know! My colors are Navy,Hunter green, and Black. My other horse is Dark purple, Black, and White. If you could find links to the things I need with those colors that would be awesome (: Thanks! Best answer to the most helpful person (including links and information)

I would not advise bandages for the horse's legs as these get tight when damp or even wet. Better support boots which look like brushing boots, which support the tendons but do not tighten. Studs if necessary.
Maybe a breast plate if your horse is narrow in front.
Martingale if needed.
Gloves and a short whip. And prescription goggles if your eyesight is not good. Safer than specs and less likely to fall off!
A stopwatch. Oh, and an armband which contains the medical details of both you and the horse in case of accident. In my day this was not compulsory, though I did carry an envelope in my pocket but now it is compulsory and a very good idea!

For eventing youd need items for the following:
1) Cross Country- You can be a bit more selective with what you choose for cross country. Youd most likely need a good safety vest... a good one can be purchased from the Dover Saddlery website, I highly recommend them. http://www.doversaddlery.com/ladies'-devon-aire%c2... Try these. Youd need breeches and boots as well but I know you probably already have those!
2) Stadium (Show Jumping)- It really depends how formal of a competition you're entering, but again try Dover. If you're doing a schooling show or small non rated show, id suggest a high quality polo shirt. Try http://www.doversaddlery.com/riding-sport%3f-event... . They have navy and hunter green in this color. But if you're looking for something more formal, like a show coat, try a hunt coat.
Hope this helps!

First of all, don't rush to get any of this stuff, local shows are generally in the late spring and summer. Most important would be a saftey vest, this one's mine, it's a little expensive, but I've used it more times than I can count!
Second, jump boots help you horse a lot, unless you are planning on cross rail divisions. Tendon/brush boots work well. http://www.bigdweb.com/SPLINT-LOW-TENDON-AND-ANKLE... (This is just the first I found. I like the colorful ones better!)
Polos are fine for lower level, show coats for upper lever (stock, pin, etc.).
All purpose show pads in your color are cheap-ish and good looking. Shorter crops will be better than unwieldy dressage whips for jumping.
You can also get extra stuff like ear bonnets and quarter sheets for down time, but I would just stick to the basics for your first shows. :)

Do you have brush boots for your horse? Very important, and also that white grease for the horses legs depending on your level :)

With regards to tack and equipment, don't forget stud girths for jumping, martingales and obviously correct tendon boots.
