The Dave Matthews Band?
So I am a huge Dave Matthews Band fan for some reason when I bring them up people are always like eww they are horrible or they cant sing. So I am just curious how people feel about them?. I have seen them over 30 times in concert and they make me happy when I am sad, so if you haven't listened to them which most haven't when they said yuck they suck, why do they get negative feedback? and if you do like them what's your favorite song?

It's a fantastic band with first class musicians - people who can actually play their instruments. Some people really can't appreciate stuff that is not your average run-of-the-mill pop or rock stuff.
I like a lot of his stuff, a nice blend of folk, jazz, rock and pop. And, dang, what a band! :-)
That said, I suppose some folks don't like the vocal style of Dave Matthews. Still, if you say he can't sing, then you obviously need a brain transplant...

I saw them open for the Rolling Stones in 1997; also on the bill were Smashing Pumpkins and Matchbox 20. I was utterly bored by all three bands. No denying there is talent in the DMB, but it just doesn't reach me. I ain't feelin' it, as a friend likes to say.
I attend all concerts with an open mind and a happy expectation of entertainment. Don't get me wrong- I *wanted* to like DMB since they were just breaking out, but they were flat.
