will levetiracetam improve short term memory?

I have not been diagnosed with short term memory loss im 17 and very smart. I have dreamed about going into nursing or forensic investigation for years problem is I cant remember things 15 or so seconds after they have been said. People get annoyed with me but no matter how hard I try to pay attention the things im supposed to remember disappear. Im healthy and have no reason for this memory loss. Please help! I did take Ginko Biloba but I forgot to take it each day :/
