All this talk about guns and mass shootings is making me nervous?

if you've ever had mental evaluations,those will be produced and examined before you can own a gun..im wonder how blacks feel knowing that a crazy white could easily go into a highly populated area a massacre a bunch of blacks...would they retaliate against innocent whites?

Mass shootings are an unfortunate side effect of the right to bear arms. However, most people who are injured or killed by guns are not done so in mass shootings. People who have guns specifically for the purpose of committing crimes, however, are going to have the whether they're legal or not. People who have guns for the purpose of defense will give their guns up if they are illegal and thus be unable to defend themselves from criminals. Most gun owners are very responsible with their weapons. It would not be fair to penalize them to remove guns from the hands of a vast minority. Furthermore, it would take more than just Obama to strike down the second amendment, which would be the only way to illegalize gun ownership. Two thirds of both the House and the Senate must agree on it, and frankly, there are not enough democrats, much less democrats who would support repealing the second amendment, in congress to do so.

o I feel u brah but u cant get a fully auto legally whitch is what you want jus for protection and I dnt understand how ppl dnt get that. but im a felon I cant own a gun but Im getting a duel proof vest and have hella knifes and of corse my martial arts training. but anyway if your talking about the Colorado shooting it was staged the governments drugging kids and either shooting up places themselves or having the drgged kids do it.look it up in my homies still drop that d lil wayne talks about the shooting but the song came out before the shooting and if you look up the kid hes drugged in court its ovious he cant even defend his self

If there had been a concealed carrier in the area where that mass shooting occurred the shooter would have been shot in the head pretty quick.

I feel that responsible citizens should be armed and skilled shooters, it makes everyone safer.

me too. I'm very nervous and I get scared easy. I'm scared because I work in call center. This is big place. People doing this and I do not understand why this is happening so much.
