Will Republican Gun owners Pay extra for Teachers to be Gun Trained and Security Guards as well as teachers?

You mean ban guns like they're banned in Chicago, New York, and Mexico? Sure seems to be working out well for them with they're record murder/crime rates. Why don't we ban cars when the next drunk driver kills someone? At least driving a car isn't a constitutional right, and would be an easier fight.

Lets focus on mental health awareness and school defenses instead.

They wouldn't need any other training. Their sheer numbers and dispersal within the schools would dramatically increase the odds against a lone shooter.

The shooter would have to run a gauntlet and would be immediately on the defense.

This would provide time for the police to arrive and snuff the shooter

It makes the case for more job creation perhaps using former members of the military in a School Protection role as clearly, a "gun free" zone isn't working. My heart goes out to the families of those killed in today's tragedy and I hope they find and punish the perps quickly and painfully.

How are you going to ban guns? The same way they tried to ban drugs and alcohol?
