is there something wrong with me?

for as long as i can remember, i have been able to see the air and wind currents move. when i see the air, it looks like small squirming lines which shatter when coming into contact with an object. and when i see the wind, i can see it flow and glide across my line of vision like an invisible brook. also, my mother, grandmother, and a few of my cousins can all see the same thing, just none of the men in our family.

so you see, is there something wrong with me? am i schizophrenic? or is it something else?

Update:

also, when i see the wind, believe it or not...i can see the colors in the wind. the colors only appear when the wind currents comes into contact with a living thing. the colors i see usually reflect the mood of the person.

It's what's called known as synesthesia. Your brain connects different things with things that most peoples' wouldn't. For me, I see colors when I hear music, and so does my mom. It's genetic, and nothing to be worried about!
