Marie I feel your frustration! It is so sad that innocent people have to suffer because of certain ones.

Unfortunately as a society we have raised children with no discipline and/or with no respect for life and/or no fear of authority or God!

I have worked around children everyday for over 20 yrs. I see their attitudes changing for the worse and I see how more and more there are no real consequences for their actions.

I see how these violent video games/movies have influenced them over the years. Some can play them and not get affected to that degree however they still are affected. Someone gets their head blown off and it is cool! The cartoons are so violent and sexual as well. Ex. Family guy, Simpsons etc.

Schools are having so much discipline problems that they have a hard time teaching.

The scriptures have foretold this would happen in 2 Tim 3:1-5, 13

The Bible, says parents should: “Train up a boy according to the way for him; even when he grows old he will not turn aside from it.” (Prov. 22:6)

The result of not doing that is as stated at Proverbs 29:15: “A boy let on the loose will be causing his mother shame.”

In Israel, a rod was an instrument of chastisement. In 2 Samuel 7:14 God said concerning King David’s successor: “When he does wrong, I will also reprove him with the rod of men and with the strokes of the sons of Adam.” Also, to the members of spiritual Israel, the apostle Paul writes, in 1 Corinthians 4:15-21: “You certainly do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have become your father through the good news. . . . What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and mildness of spirit?” The book of Proverbs says: “Do not hold back discipline from the mere boy. In case you beat him with the rod, he will not die. With the rod you yourself should beat him, that you may deliver his very soul from Sheol itself.” (Prov. 23:13, 14; 22:15)

How this parental rod of authorized chastisement is used is a serious matter. Parents are accountable to God, who gives the authority to chastise, to use the “rod” properly. Failure to do so may well result in death to the child, as the proverb states, as well as divine disapproval of the parents. God himself sets the example in the proper exercise of fatherly authority to discipline, as pointed out at Hebrews 12:7, 9, 10: “God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is he that a father does not discipline? Furthermore, we used to have fathers who were of our flesh to discipline us, and we used to give them respect. Shall we not much more subject ourselves to the Father of our spiritual life and live? For they for a few days used to discipline us according to what seemed good to them, but he does so for our profit that we may partake of his holiness.” God disciplines his people, not because he is irritated, but “for our profit,” that we may have his approval and live. He expects Christian fathers to do likewise toward their children, with a view to their becoming true disciples of his Son.

Unfortunately some parents do not listen to the wise counsel found in the Bible.

Also in Rev 12:7-12 the Bible describes a war going on in heaven with the Devil and Michael. Notice verse 8 & 12 says the heavens can be glad because the Devil was finally kicked out of heaven. Also in those verses it brings out that there is woe for the earth because the Devil is now confined here trying to take all he can because he knows his time is short.

My opinion is that yes, the world is just that far gone. Generations are just getting worse and worse. Now, EVERYONE either is cutting, trying to commit suicide, thinking of suicide, or killing people. It's as if it's cool to be a cutter or suicidal or a murderer now. Almost all the teens I know act suicidal and cut and openly admit it as if this were normal and the cool teen thing to do.

And I don't think people going on killing sprees really have a reason, they are just mentally unstable.

In fact, the past couple generations has had mental illnesses skyrocket. Why? You'd have to ask a scientist, if they even know. Possibly technology, we were not this horrid before. Or maybe it is just time for the world to end because we make it end by destroying ourselves. Who knows for sure.

There's really no way to know why we are ending up this way, but it seems we will start having 10 year old pregnant girls and drug addicted toddlers very soon.
