My favorite young adult writer is Neal Schusterman. I'm literally addicted to his books. One is Unwind, and the second book is UnWholly. Its a trilogy, so another book is coming out soon (Hopefully!) Other book series he wrote are the Everlost series. I adore him!!!! :) Read the reviews online! The Wicked series is more sophisticated, but very entertaining all the same.

Earthsea by Ursula ok Leguin, starts with A Wizard of Earthsea Chronicles of Chrestomanci by DIanna Wynne Jones, starts with The Lives of Christopher Chant Discworld by Terry Pratchett, starts with the colour of Magic those are new so there is in basic terms one or 2 volumes so far: Divergent by Veronica Roth Enclave by Ann Aguirre XVI by Julia Karr

Well, if you like supernatural books, as well as romances, I think you should read the Tigers Curse series by Colleen Houck. There's a lot of really cool stuff that happens in it and there is a lot of magic and shape-shifting involved. It's really good!

I really enjoyed Eon by Allison Goodman, and I have Incarceron right now, and it seems pretty interesting, though I haven't read it yet.

Check out Tamora Pierce. She has a whole bunch of series. They are all classic wizzard and warrior fantasy. But a lot of heroines.
