Is errorEnd safe from viruses?

Well, I just got my new pc, but I found a problem when I wanted to download a song.

It was error 404.

I looked on wiki how to see what I can do about it.

Wiki how recommended me to download errorEnd.

After I downloaded it, I saw it looked so much like that virus I downloaded last time which ruined my old pc.

I also read about it being malware or spyware, so I immediately uninstalled it from my pc.

Is my pc safe?

Update:

Here's the wiki how page I was looking at:

I assume you have security software installed. If not...

    Try this:

I have the free versions of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) and Avast Antivirus installed. They won’t conflict, so long as you don’t attempt to scan with both products simultaneously.

As soon as you've installed them, start them and get updates for the virus definitions.

Here’s a link to the free version of Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware:

Here’s a link to the free version of Avast Antivirus:

The link for Wiki-Errors gets abysmal scores from Web of Trust:

    These links get good scores:

    Hope this helps.

No. IMMEDIATELY download the free scanner from http://malwarebytes.org/ and run the full score. If there are any traces left it will remove them, if it finds nothing your machine is clean. NEVER use any of these third party magic bullet programs. Anything which is supposed to fix all problems automatically is dangerous. All these can do is set up the machine to their own opinion of what the idea installation of Windows should be. Stupid idea, since no 2 machines are identical, even the same make and model loaded with the same software will cease to be identical as soon as they are used. Even the order of installation of the software makes a difference. So there can NEVER be an ideal. And most of them are scams. And many are actually infections or rogue programs infecting machines or setting up errors so they can charge to fix them.

Additionally : Error 404 is normally that you have been directed to a page which is not available on that site. This can be a site error.

Error 404 is the error code for a document or file on the Internet that does not exist where the link says it does. It is not something that is wrong with your PC and you do not need a program to fix it.

Errorend is likely scareware or something that is at least a scam as in does not do what it claims. You would not be hurt by booting your computer into Safe Mode with Networking and running Malwarebytes. you can do this by pressing F8 while your computer boots, before it gets to the Windows splash screen.

Or you can elect to have this done for you remotely by a qualified technician. Hope this helps, let me know if you need more help.
