How do you use a fondue set?
I got a fondue set as a gift and I've never actually had fondue before. I figured out how to put it together without much trouble. The problem is, I don't know what's supposed to go in it. There is a large center pot and six little ceramic bowls around the outside. The heat only goes under the large pot. I always thought you were supposed to put cheese in the middle and have bread for dipping. The little bowls are too small for chunks of bread. Also, the picture on the box shows a bunch of different sauces in the little bowls and meat and vegetables in the center pot. This is nothing like what I thought fondue was! Does anyone have a set like this? What am I supposed to do with it?

Different cultlures have their own method or favorite way of doing it. It can be a way to finish up a meal and do your dessert. (Fruits and a Chocolate Fondue). Or you could make a main meal... a meat fondue.
The bowls are for serving an assortment of fruits, or condiments.
