Is it dangerous to have your period for a whole month?

Literally I have been on my period for a whole month as of today. And it was weird because my last period I only stopped bleeding for 3 weeks. Usually my period is a very normal 7 day bleeding on a 28 day schedule. I don't know if I should be alarmed? What can cause this?

That's a lot of blood loss. I would for sure go to the doctor and see what's going on.
