Will push-ups make me too bulky(teen girl)?

Hey guys, so I play volleyball and our season just started, I'm in great shape but I wanted to tone up a bit. We do push-ups a lot at practice so I started doing 30 a night along with a minute long plank. The first question I have is:

- will I become manly from the extra push-ups?

And:

-will this work for getting abs too?

    No you won't get manly/bulky....it's extremely hard for girls to put on much muscle mass...so do as many push ups as you can...I like to do hands close (make a diamond with your thumbs and forefingers...oh and widen your feet or you'll lose your balance), then standard, then hands out wide, then one hand std and one hand about 16 inches in front. I do 7 reps of each at the end of my chest workout as a final polishing move, if you are just doing pushups you can adjust the reps to whatever works...i also recommend you start doing pull ups...good luck.

    1a) No, you will not become manly, its physically impossible due to hormonal requirements.

    b) push ups aren't that good of an exercise to put on mass anyway, so don't worry about getting bulk.

    2) No, you will not get abs just by doing pushups, you need to be on a actual diet plan and specific training to acquire abs

    Without steroids and/or other drugs a woman cannot develop the kind of muscles that men have. Go to YouTube for different exercises to help you develop your abs.

    Pushes don't just tone your arms they can also burn calories!

    Just don't lift very heavy weights and you will not have bulky .arms.
