Is eating live animals bad?
I've seen a couple of Youtube videos showing sushi chefs cutting up live animals, such as octopus and frogs, and then serving it live, even though it's technically already dead, but the nerves are still acting up. Then I go through the comments and many of them bash Asian cultures for being cruel to animals, saying stuff like "How would you like it if you were eaten alive?" Do we really have the right to judge the customs and traditions of other cultures, basing our judgement off of our own culture? The way we live is different than theirs, yet people think that even with a cultural difference, it's still animal cruelty, even though the other cultures see it as nothing more than food the same way we see our food. Other people argue that it happens all the time in nature, since animals do attack and eat each other live, which is true. Animals, including humans, have to eat to live. Whether it's a live or dead shouldn't really matter. BTW, I am Christian, and someone told me that the Bible does say that animals were created for man to eat, and doesn't state anything about how the food should be prepared.
I've even seen videos of a pack of hyenas attacking and eating a baby buffalo in the wild, and then there are comments criticizing the cameraman and other standerby's for not interfering and helping the baby buffalo, even though the whole event was a natural process. It is really our duty to interfere with the circle of life and save an animal, depriving another animal of food at the same time?
So, what is the basis for their judgement? Asians see it as nothing more than just their culture, the same way Americans see hamburgers, hotdogs, and fries as part of their culture.
I'm asking because I am Taiwanese-American, and Asians often get bashed and criticized for eating strange things, such as dogs and live octopus, and it gives non-Asians the wrong image of us.
And please no hypothetical questions like "How would you feel if you were eaten alive." I've seen too much of that...

Every culture is different and no I could not eat anything raw. That is me that is who I am.. In Australia people eat Kangaroo snakes turtle. No I could not bring myself round to that and I am an Australian. The animal kingdom is raw, and it is the circle of life. You may look at it culling different species. It has been happening for millions of years. Owls come out at night to hunt. Mothers (animals) may it there young. It is about the fittest when it comes to the animal food change. I have seen the documentaries where dogs are caged up for eating purposes that makes me sick. Yet it is because it is not part of my culture. To me eating anything raw is like cannibalism. Does not mean it is wrong it is just the way I was bought up. We need in society to accept others differences including food. No one is better then anyone else. We all strive to survive. Without food water we do not survive. It is like spices, some cultures love spices others don't. It does not mean either one is wrong. Mind you eating raw meat, fish and such can lead to health problems as well. So for this little Aussie I will have my meat cooked and enjoy it while other enjoy there's any way they prepare it. It is life.

It relies upon on the beef. food market nutrition is ALL undesirable. advance your individual nutrition and bring up your individual animals for meat or hunt. I'm from Florida and that i dare wouldn't devour a fish interior the sea by how lots **** they put in it yet I additionally don't like fish. certainly human beings are think to be carnivores by the form if our the teeth yet considering on earth we've ate mammoths, do-do birds, we've ate meat. human beings do no longer stay perpetually and that's what's so no longer uncomplicated to attraction to close for some human beings. definite every physique desires to stay a protracted and wholesome existence yet dying will take us all. ingesting suitable and wholesome can kill you. ingesting fat crap from McDonalds can kill you. every physique's physique is different to how they manage nutrition. too lots meat in basic terms like too lots vegetables can kill you. too lots water can kill you. savor what time you have left and the human beings around you. And devour however you desire to devour

Well roman Catholics and church of England both agree that it is ok to use animals for purposes ie. food and research. And also they think since we were created after man we can use them how we like with stewardship so I would think it is ok
