If Christians believe that atheists hate God just because they don't believe in him.............?

then how come they always forget accuse atheists of hating Satan as well because they don't believe in him either?

Strange breed these Christians!

Update:

planner......To be more exact you are repeating what another human being has written.

Ever tried actually thinking for yourself?

Not all atheists hate God; some are indifferent to him. However, atheists who evangelize against God are not indifferent.

I don't believe in fairies or unicorns, but I don't spend a minute trying to convince others to give up their faith in fairies or unicorns. Thus, atheists who actively oppose God can be reasonably described as hating him, and that is problematic for atheism because it is inconsistent with simple disbelief.

    Cheers,

Yeah. that must be a real oxymoron. How can somebody hate what they don't have confidence exists at the start! As a minister I even have various friends who declare to be atheists. We admire one yet another academically and in my view we purely conform to disagree on some issues.

I can feel your confusion but your daring curiosity will lead you ahead.

The answer is, Christians don't think. If they did they wouldn't need religion to tell them their spirit is immortal, that abiding by their conscience keeps it intact and comforts you when you are alive and makes you strong in death and that belonging to a religion doesn't ever protect you from the consequences of ignoring your inner voice. Because your conscience is the voice within you that is directly connected to god. Religions just like to hijack that relationship so that they can create a tax base. They are a business. They actually tempt people away from god by seducing them into believing that a religion\priest\prophet is absolutely necessary as a kind of broker for their relationship with god, but that's an insult to god. What parent would cut their children off and set up an interpreter to talk to their own children lol. It's silly. Now why is that so complicated?

Because when people disobey their inner voice they have to cut themselves off from it or it bothers them - that's free will, and alone-ness is the consequence. And when you do that you cut your self off from the god-force\the life in all the universe and multiverse. And when you do that you feel alone and vulnerable - because you ARE - but you did it to yourself with your own free will. And that's precisely when a religion can swoop in and offer you company and security to replace the disconnection you feel from god.

If you've damaged your connection to your conscience you can repair it by being honest with yourself. Face the lies you've bought and regret inwardly and reach out to the holy spirit to reconnect. It will happen.

By the way, you can disobey your inner voice by doing something seemingly good. It's complicated and simple at the same time. If you meditate on the answer you will "get" it.

Lastly - atheists can't hate Satan since they don't even believe in him.

It should be easy to follow your own counsel guided by you personal relationship with god, and it would be if there weren't so many people trying to bully, shame, terrorize, intimidate, mislead, confuse, seduce, brainwash you into letting them take over and control you for profit. Yes, it's all about money. Control means you can tithe people. Tithes are the tax base. Like customers to a monthly subscription. Same thing. That's all it is. Predatory exploitation of vulnerable souls. Sad isn't it.

By the way - if you really want to go down the rabbit hole - google EZER KENEGDO and find out how the bible has been deliberately misinterpreted to exploit men and women, to pit them against each other, to make master slave relationships that seduced men into supporting religions by promising exploitation of women, that seduced women into abandoning their responsibility to be autonomous (yes millions\billions are coerced but that's another story). Yes, very devious isn't it. But don't worry, you can go to church, pay some cold hard cash, and then you'll be forgiven for betraying yourself and your partner, humanity and god :-)

    Have a good day.

Source(s): God - speaking directly and guiding me to wisdom and revelation through my own inner voice. You all have this if you want it, not just prophets - but you have to earn it by not lying about everything and not believing lies lol.IGNORance is somewhat an act of free will. So is knowing. Listen for the ring of truth in what you say and everything around you and you will open up that channel as it should be. The more you attune to it the louder it becomes. Life is fair, god is life. Good luck seekers.

    Skepticism ≠ hate.

Christianity is based on a FALSE dichotomy. They say you must either choose God or reject him but belief is not a choice, its a compulsion beyond the realm of choice. To clearly make a choice I must be clearly given the option. If I can doubt whether the option even exists, then the option has not been clearly presented to me, thereby, preventing me from being able to make a choice. Wouldn't an omniscient God see such a flaw in his system?

Atheists don't hate God. He does not exist. That makes you and the pretend atheists that come here believers. You are simply haters that love negative attention.

They aren't strange, they just cherrypick according to situation.

The first statement suits them better at certain occasions.

And since, according to some Christians, we are possessed by satan, they use that statement as well.

It just depends for which purpose.

that is not strange in the least. in fact, it is explained in the bible. God said that those who do not believe in him hate him...so it is God, not christians who said this. he also says that satan is the god which those people serve, whether they acknowledge him or whether they believe in him or not, they are still serving him, even if they don''t realize it.

so that's why christians say that. because that is what God said, and we are simply repeating what he says.
