Relationship and moving advise...what should i do with my life?

Basically i have been with the same guy for 2 years and we feel like soul mates. we're just perfect for eachother. the problem is that i like 8 hours away and we have only been seeing eachother once a month. Luckily i was offered a flat by my parents in his area so we could live near eachother and i could start working. But this isnt possible till next summer and i have had enough of not being able to work full time so i want to get a full time job here untill then but that isn't possible as i know it would hurt us both too much to be away from eachother for that long.
