Evolution question that needs answering?
So in my biology class we were talking about evolution, we watched a video about Jane goodall/Goodell,and they said we share 98.5% of DNA with primates. :O Anyways,I was wondering since we'r practically brothers with these guys how come they have black eyes(around the iris) and we have white.? How come we didn't keep that black eye around the iris trait.?

It is worth noting that individual humans generally differ by about 0.1 percent genetically. Thus, chimps differ from humans by about 15-fold more, on the average, than humans do from one another. The 0.1 percent human divergence certainly results in significant variation in physical appearance and traits between different humans. Therefor, perhaps we shouldn't be so surprised that chimps could be 98.5 percent related to humans. Relatively small genetic changes can produce major phenotypic changes.

Evolutionists think we evolved white iris' for communication porpoises. It is easy to see a pupil moving from left to right in a human eye, but harder in a Bonobo or Chimp eye. Communication like this could aid hunting in open plains.

We share the same basic traits as them. Perhaps simply because our eyes mutated or vice versa.

We evolved red colour vision so we had a larger colour Spectrum, so the white eyes allow more light in.
