can you get 0 or negative points in yahoo answers?

You can get to 0 points, despite the Points & Levels chart only showing 1 as the lowest. You can earn negative points for the week, but you will never go below 0 points overall. Even if you have less than 10 points and you receive a violation, your overall points will not go below 0.

You won't be able to ask a question unless you have at least 5 points.

I always seem to get people who disagree with me on this, so I challenge any user to send me a link to a profile with a negative overall point balance. If I see one while this question is still open I will retract my answer. I've given this challenge out numerous times and have yet to see a single response.

You can get 0 points if a question is in voting and a voter selects "No Best Answer". You can also get negative points in the "Points This Week" column on your profile. Otherwise, no, not really.

U ask greater questions than you answer. You lose 5 pts whenever you ask, and in common terms get 2 for an answer. whenever you ask a question, attempt to respond to 2 or 3 questions to make up for it.
