The hobbit: question on movie?
does anyone else think that the Hobbit feels slightly like a Disney movie compared the lord of the rings. don't get me wrong its still brilliant though

A little bit. But if you read the book, you'll see that The Hobbit has a much, much lighter tone than the LOTR trilogy.

Don't compare it to LOTR. Their plots are entirely different.
The hobbit is a children's book. It isn't supposed to be dark, serious and as epic as LOTR-which was written for adults.

"The Hobbit" was written as a children's tale, that tone comes directly from the source material.
