Is anyone having issues setting search preferences on GOOGLE?

The google saved settings feature seemed to be broken....

If I goto www.google.com the us or uk version...on my Droid or Ipad....and try to save my search filtering settings....search history and precise location...etc...and hit save like I have been doing for years I get the cute error message...

"Unable to save your preferences at this time...try again later!"

or some other garbage...so I just went back to using yahoo instead....

I tried it with both firefox and the android web clients...cleared my cache...cookies...history locally...

Anyone have a workaround or any information on this?? Or is it just me?
